Courchevel, one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the French Alps, is part of the world-renowned Trois Vallées ski area, which offers over 600 km of pistes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. The resort is divided into several villages at different altitudes — Courchevel 1850, 1650 (Moriond), 1550 (Village), Le Praz, and La Tania — each with its own atmosphere.
From gentle beginner slopes (there are excellent ski schools) to long intermediate runs and challenging off-piste terrain, Courchevel caters to every level. Snowboarders will also find snowparks and freeride zones across the Trois Vallées.
Off the slopes, Courchevel is famous for its luxury, particularly in Courchevel 1850, which boasts five-star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and designer boutiques. However, more affordable options exist in the lower villages, including self-catering apartments, mid-range hotels, and cosy chalets, making it possible for a wide range of visitors to enjoy the resort.
