Mayrhofen, located in Austria’s Zillertal Valley, is a lively and popular ski resort known for its extensive slopes, varied terrain, and vibrant après-ski scene.
Sitting at 633 meters, it provides access to the Zillertal 3000 ski area, including the Penken and Ahorn mountains, offering over 130 kilometres of pistes. Beginners will find gentle nursery slopes and well-structured ski schools, intermediates can enjoy long cruising runs and scenic red pistes, while advanced skiers and snowboarders can tackle steep black runs, off-piste terrain, and challenging freeride zones. Snowboarders also benefit from the Penken Park and other terrain parks for jumps and tricks.
